One of my oldest photographic loves was military aviation.

I remember cycling all the way from Welwyn Garden City to Old Warden, as a teenager,  just to see an airshow. I took my camera with me.

I try to attend the world’s biggest airshow at Fairford, the Royal International Air Tattoo, but can’t make it every year due to work. I try to get to Duxford as often as I can.

I love shooting these aircraft with my 600mm lens, though it’s often not easy keeping an aircraft in the viewfinder while it’s doing 350 mph across your path.

I would love, one day, to do some air-to-air photography.
