Light Painting
November 2023, the camera club had a light painting night.
These shots are long exposure shots on tripods.
The light is made by attaching LED strips to various object and then moving the object while the shutter is open.
Below are shots with LEDs attached to a bicycle wheel which is then spun on the ground. Others are of LED strips attached to wooden dowel rods.
The lights are cheap sets which have controllers you can use to change the colours. You can get all sorts of colour effects, some are made with a solid colour, others have the colours changing automatically, others have rainbow colours on the same strip.
